Bowl & Dine is a classic American Diner which ended up in the mountains of Norway. The restaurant and bowling alley at Dr. Holms Hotel in Geilo is an interesting alternative to downhill or cross country skiing and hygge in a mountain log cabin. But as many like us, we appreciate the alternative. It is good fun and very popular by the kids. The interior is impressing, they have followed the American Diner theme all the way, red leather seating, chrome barstools, even a huge jukebox and miniature models of classic American Cars. The restaurant serves typical American diner food, many types of burgers and pizza, spareribs, chicken wings, nuggets and nachos. And of course milk-shake. You can get better burgers or pizza elsewhere in Geilo, but the bowl and dine combination is a good experience. Bowl & Dine has 6 bowling tracks and you can choose by playing one round or rent it for an hour. Each track has a seating area where you can enjoy the milk-shakes and even food if you cant wait to the end of the game. Some evenings it is time for cosmic bowling, the lights are turned off and the room becomes neon and blue. The balls shine in the dark and are followed up by various lighting effects.
