Over the last couple of years, Highland Lodge has been transformed from a traditional hotel into an elegant lodge. The well-known Norwegian interior architect Anemone Wille Våge has designed the common areas, with a modern lounge as the centerpiece. If you recognize features from The Thief in Oslo, it's not so strange. During the renovation, many of the rooms and the conference area were converted into apartments of various sizes and put up for sale to private individuals. Highland Lodge is operated as a hotel through agreements with the apartment owners, where the hotel can use the apartments or parts of them as hotel rooms and suites when not in use. Highland Lodge has its own bakery known for its cinnamon buns and its own Pizzeria which we present under restaurants. In addition, Ørjan Johanessen, Bocuse d’Or winner and owner of Bekkjarvik Gjestgiveri, has opened Spiseriet Beefbar here. Weather permitting, you can enjoy both food and drink on the large terrace at the front of the hotel The hotel is owned and operated by the same company that is also behind Vestlia Resort and Bardøla hotel Highland Lodge has a large modern activity area with gym, swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi.
