SUMMER

IN GEILO

Geilo is just as good in the summer as in winter. Here is awide range of ​​hiking opportunities, whether you walk or use a mountain bike. Several of the lifts are open and transport people up the mountain. Vestlia summer park offers a number of activities: one of Norway's longest Zip-lines, climbpark, golf, frisbee golf, cyclocross and off-road cycling. WINTER

IN GEILO

Geilo is best known as a winter destination, with a good selection of ski lifts and trails, but also for some of the best cross- country trail networks in Norway. The winter in Geilo normally lasts from mid-November to the beginning of May. The first snow often falls in mid-October, but does not settle until the end of November. From mid-September and about one month forward, the autumn colors take over in Geilo and nature turns into a firework of red, yellow and orange.
